Instructions for Presenters

A. Invited sessions

1. All presentations are allocated a certain time-slot. We have foreseen 20 minutes for each invited oral presentation: this includes a 15- minute presentation, followed by a short Q&A (5 minutes).

2. Please prepare your presentation in PowerPoint (or PDF-format) or Latex Beamer PDF. ­Please use your abstract ID (say, P…..) as the name of your presentation file name.

3. We kindly ask you not to bring your own laptop, but to bring your presentation on a USB-key, as a laptop will be provided in each auditory. The conference computers will have the Windows 7 operating system. Supported presentation formats are Microsoft PowerPoint (or PDF) or Latex Beamer PDF.

4. Presentations can be uploaded before the start of the session in the room where your presentation will take place. We kindly ask you to be in the room 15 minutes before the start of your session. Please use this time also to locate and present yourself to the chair of your session.

B. Contributed sessions

1. All presentations are allocated a certain time-slot. We have foreseen 12 minutes for each contributed oral presentation: this includes a 10-minute presentation, followed by a short Q&A (2 minutes).

2. Please prepare your presentation in PowerPoint or PDF-format or Latex Beamer PDF. ­Please use your abstract ID (say, P…..) as the name of your presentation file name.­

3. We kindly ask you not to bring your own laptop, but to bring your presentation on a USB-key, as a laptop will be provided in each auditory. Supported presentation formats are Microsoft PowerPoint and PDF or Latex Beamer PDF.

4. Presentations can be uploaded before the start of the session in the room where your presentation will take place. We kindly ask you to be in the room 15 minutes before the start of your session/workshop/symposium. Please use this time also to locate and present yourself to the chair of your session.

C. Poster sessions

1. There are 3 poster sessions. All will take place in the corridor of the main hall as located in the first floor.

2. All posters in each session will be on display for a fixed time duration. As poster presenter, we kindly ask you to be present next to your poster. This will give you the opportunity to meet and discuss your work with the other conference delegates.

3. On one of the poster panels, we will provide the list with poster numbers. Please look up your poster number (abstract ID), and attach your poster to the panel with the corresponding number. Attachment materials will be provided by us.

4. Posters should be brought to the conference and not mailed. We do not have any facilities to print your poster onsite.

5. Presenters are responsible for posting and removing their own materials. All posters should be attached to the correct panel on the day of their poster session at least 30 minutes before starting the session. All posters should be removed at the end of the session. Posters that have not been removed will not be stored by the organization.

6. In case of technical issues, there will be a poster session chair who will be available for help.

7. The days for the poster sessions in which you will present your poster, can be found in the program book.
